Youth Committed to Change (YCC) empowers young adults to become leaders of compassion, purpose, and service, creating meaningful community impact through projects that uplift children, families, and the unhoused — continuing Sonia’s lifelong legacy of faith, generosity, and action.
Be part of Youth Committed to Change (YCC) — a dynamic group of young adults (ages 18–30) working together to uplift children, support individuals experiencing homelessness, and create meaningful impact within our communities. Whether you want to plan service projects, create content that inspires, or lead from the front, there’s a place for you here.

Membership

Eligibility: Open to individuals aged 18–30 residing in Maryland Commitment: Minimum of 25 volunteer hours per year

What We Do:
Empower Young Adults: Develop a new generation of community leaders who are committed to service, advocacy, and civic engagement.

Serve Local Communities: Conduct quarterly service projects addressing homelessness, youth support, and community needs in Maryland.

Build Leadership and Professional Skills: Offer hands-on experience in teamwork, project management, and nonprofit operations.

Promote Faith and Compassion: Encourage service grounded in faith, empathy, and respect for all people.
