At Sonia’s Faith in Action, we believe that faith and compassion have the power to transform lives. Each of our programs is guided by our commitment to service, community, and hope — carrying forward the spirit of generosity and love that defined Sonia’s life. Through hands-on service and outreach efforts, we aim to meet people where they are, offering practical support, encouragement, and care to those in need both locally and abroad.
Youth Committed to Change (YCC) is a dedicated branch of Sonia’s Faith in Action to mobilize young adults in meaningful, structured community service while fostering leadership, connection, and purpose.
The Sonia’s Faith in Action Scholarship was established to honor the life and legacy of Sonia Lindsay, a woman of unwavering faith, compassion, and service.
The Sonia’s Faith in Action Internship Program provides students and emerging professionals with meaningful opportunities to gain hands-on experience in community outreach, nonprofit development, and service-based leadership. Interns work alongside our team to support programs that serve children, families, individuals experiencing homelessness, and caregivers affected by cancer.

Sonia’s Circle of Care is a dedicated arm of Sonia’s Faith in Action focused on supporting individuals and families impacted by cancer, with a particular emphasis on caregivers. Rooted in Sonia’s legacy of compassion, faith, and service, this program provides emotional, spiritual, and practical support to those walking alongside loved ones through cancer journeys.
Roots of Faith exists to extend Sonia’s legacy of compassion and faith beyond borders by uplifting communities in Jamaica through programs that support children, families, and individuals in need. We are committed to promoting access to basic necessities, education, and emotional and spiritual care — empowering people to thrive with dignity, purpose, and hope.
The Blessing Bag Initiative exists to restore dignity, promote health, and share hope with individuals and families experiencing homelessness. Through faith, compassion, and community collaboration, we provide essential hygiene and comfort items — such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, mouthwash, socks, wipes, and more — to meet immediate needs while fostering a sense of worth and belonging. Each Blessing Bag serves as a tangible expression of love and care, inspired by Sonia’s lifelong commitment to serving others with grace and generosity.
