The Sonia’s Faith in Action Scholarship Program honors students who embody compassion, service, and leadership in their communities. Each year, three scholarships are awarded to support students at different stages of their educational journey.

​Eligibility Criteria

Must be a high school senior attending school in Maryland.

Minimum GPA of 2.8 or higher.

Demonstrated volunteer or service involvement benefiting children and/or individuals experiencing homelessness.

Plans to enroll in a two- or four-year college/university in the upcoming academic year.

Must submit one letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, or community leader.
Eligibility Criteria

Must be currently enrolled in a Maryland college or university (undergraduate level).

Minimum GPA of 3.0.

Demonstrated service or leadership involvement related to supporting children, families, or individuals experiencing homelessness.

Open to all majors.

Must include a résumé or summary of community/volunteer experience.
Eligibility Criteria

Must be a graduate student currently enrolled in a Maryland-based program.

Minimum GPA of 3.2.

Demonstrated professional, academic, or research commitment to serving children or individuals experiencing homelessness.

Must submit a brief statement of goals (500 words or less).
